About Play Therapy
Play therapy allows younger clients aged
3 & up to work through their difficulties in
age-appropriate ways. Group play therapy (for children in Kindergarten and older) is also available. Play therapy allows the brain to develop healthier ways of thinking and being, as children express themselves and discover new pathways of growth.
Parent support sessions can enhance the process of growth and deepen healing. Parents can discover new ways of being
and find support in a non-judgmental relationship. Parenting is a long and hard journey. You don’t have to face it alone. Together we will find the way to health
and healing.
NEW PLAY THERAPY GROUP SESSIONS BEGIN JANUARY 2025!

Note: Groups are limited to 8 participants and run for eight weeks.

What is Equine Therapy?
As a stand-alone treatment or as a supplement to traditional therapy, equine therapy uses the healing power of horses to create pathways to healing. Proven effective for lowering barriers to growth, the neurobiology
of connection allows clients to increase their capacity for living in healthy relationships with self and others.
Through the relationship with the horse, clients discover new patterns and find confidence to respond to life challenges in healthy ways. Anxiety, depression and self-destructive patterns are replaced with regulation, respect and self-control.
About Equine Connected EMDR
For those experiencing negative impacts of trauma, Equine Connected EMDR can provide profound healing. When traditional approaches to treating trauma haven’t been enough, adding EC-EMDR can break down barriers to growth.
Equine therapy is most suited for older kids (ages 10 and up), teens, and adults. If this option interests you, give me a call at (816) 560-8535. I'm happy to talk with you about this option and discuss how we can arrange sessions.
I do all my own scheduling, so if you're ready to book your first or next session, please call me at (816) 560-8535 and
I'll get you on the calendar.
